About the Position
The Equity is seeking an Agriculture Technology Intern who is pursuing a degree(s) at a four-year college/university with a major in Agronomy, Crop Science, Agriculture Business, Agriculture Technology, or related fields. Candidates with strong analytical and technical skills, combined with a passion for agriculture, should apply.
This internship will provide the opportunity to complete a research project validating the on-farm usage of Ag Technology. Internship experiences will include, but are not limited to.:
- Help the Sales team understand and deliver the value of Equity's branded technology platform known as GO Smart
- Assist Go Smart Manager in collecting planting and application data from growers
- Track field performance of key customers using cutting-edge crop modeling tools
- Obtain FAA Part 107-Remote Pilot certificate to commercially fly drones
- Learn how to utilize geospatial data such as yield, soil, and NDVI imagery
- Hands on experience with Ag Tech hardware such as planting monitors and drones
- Gain understanding of the agricultural retail business
