Agronomy Operations/Sales Trainee (All Locations)
In the Agronomy Operations/Sales Trainee position, you will maintain equipment and facilities, blend and deliver agricultural products, attend training programs, assist with fleet maintenance in the off-season, scout fields, and communicate professionally with all stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures
- Responsible for daily maintenance, cleanliness, and compliance with state and federal regulations of equipment and facilities.
- Blending, mixing, delivering, loading and unloading fertilizer, ag chemicals, seed and merchandise as directed.
- Attend continuing education, training programs designed by Agronomy Corporate Trainer, and sales courses to maintain a quality level of knowledge for the products, regulations, and customer relations.
- In the off-season, may be required to assist corporate shop personnel in repairing and maintaining fleet or operate the truck fleet as directed by the location manager.
- Scout fields for weed and insect problems, take soil samples, and make field maps.
- Communicate in a professional manner to the producer, salesmen and location manager.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics
- High School Diploma or GED. Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Obtain and maintain a CDL and necessary endorsements
- Obtain a commercial pesticide license
- Demonstrates ability to interact effectively with management and customers
Work Environment
The nature of the business requires extended hours. While performing the duties of the job, the employee regularly works outside near moving mechanical equipment.
Physical Demands
The physical demands include lifting objects up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs and ladders, and the ability to talk and hear.
Travel
The employee may be required to travel to other facilities in The Equity trade area, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job-related activities.
