Agronomy Internship
The Agronomy Internship involves supporting day-to-day operations at various locations, completing a research project with results analysis and presentation, and scouting fields for weeds, insects, and diseases. Throughout the internship, you will work with our teams to learn more about their careers, participate in trainings, field days, and our Internship Program.

Key Responsibilities
- Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures
- Work with locations to carry out day-to-day operations
- Complete a research project – analyzing the results and present the findings
- Scout fields for weeds, insects and disease
- Work with salesman to learn about their careers
- Participate in weekly supervisor meetings, agronomy training sessions, field days and Internship Development Program
- Build agronomy product knowledge regarding seed, pests, seed treatments, adjuvants, micronutrients, crop protection products and fertilizers
- Obtain a CDL and other licensing as needed
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics
- College student pursing a B.S. degree at a four-year college/university with a major in Agronomy, Crop Science, Ag Business or related field
- Shows attention to detail and able to multi-task
- Has a self-motivating personality as well as team-building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Travel
The employee may be required to travel to other facilities in The Equity trade area, conferences, educational opportunities, and other job-related activities.
