About the Position

The Equity is seeking Equipment & Facilities Maintenance & Repair personnel to be part of our Montrose Corporate Shop Facility. Equipment & Facilities Maintenance & Repair personnel is responsible for maintaining and repairing company owned equipment and facilities.

Salary

$20-25 per hour

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Leadership Characteristics

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must have a good driving record and have a CDL
  • Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with management and employees
  • Possess a self-motivating personality as well as team building skills
  • Have arc welding, wire welding, and/or torch welding experience

Key Responsibilities

  1. Follow all established personnel and safety policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain and repair company owned equipment and facilities
  3. Acquire and maintain knowledge and understanding of the computer-controlled process in facilities
  4. Must have the ability to read wiring schematics and blueprints
  5. Have a working knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
  6. Attend training as directed by Maintenance Manager and Safety Director
  7. Assist locations and departments in-season as needed
  8. Design and installation of ammonia facilities

Work Environment

While performing daily duties the employee will be working near moving mechanical equipment, in outside weather conditions, and may have exposure to fumes or airborne particles. Occasionally works in high precarious places. May require extended hours. Must be available for emergency breakdowns (nights, weekends, and holidays)

Travel

The position may require travel to Effingham Equity facilities, meetings and seminars
